Patlabor

Patlabor is one of forgotten great anime series of the past. Created by Headgear (Masami Yūki, Mamoru Oshii, Kazunori Itō, Yutaka Izubuchi, and Akemi Takada).

In the not-to distant future humanity develops Labors, humanoid mechs, used in heavy construction. With their introduction a new type of crime starts showing up. To combat that, a dedicated police force called Patlabor is created.

We’ve two separate timelimes: following the movies and following the TV series.
